97 fused magnesite is made of magnesite, hydromagnesite or magnesium hydroxide extracted from seawater through high-temperature calcination. It has strong hydration resistance. 

Fused magnesite is a general term for products of magnesite and other magnesum raw materials treated at high temperature to reach the degree of sintering. Magnesite calcined from natural magnesite is called magnesite clinker by one or two-step calcination process of vertical kiln, rotary kiln and other high temperature equipment. Magnesite formed by arc furnace melting and cooling with magnesite etc. as the raw materials is called fused magnesite. Magnesite made by extracting magnesia from the seawater is called seawater magnesite. Magnesite is one of the most important raw materials for refractories, which is used to manufacture all kinds of magnesia brick, magnesia-aluminum brick, ramming material, repairing mass and so on. Those containing more impurities are used to lay the bottom of steelmaking furnace, etc.
